The site now has a new look and I think it is much more pleasing than the previous one. However, I still have a lot more designing to do before I can really say that it has a unified design. Primarily, I have to get the site navigation designed and also create a better style guide for each page. And then, of course, I have to create the content to go into it. In the family portraits section, I'm still debating whether or not to have each person's face in the portraits link to their own page. Maybe I'll experiment with a couple of pictures to see how well it works. Tonight, I created some pages about my great grandfather, Quan Wei, including a nice walk through of his passport (which great aunt Bonnie gave to me). I think it looks good but still can use a bit more design elements. I'll get to that stuff as the inspiration hits me.

Well, this is it. My chance to immortalize the Quan family in cyberspace. However, my efforts to create a family website have been lagging. There's still so much to do, including develop site architecture, finalize the design layout, cut graphics, create pages, add content. Later, I'll add DB functions and other cool things.
